Hi there, I’m Gabrielle*.

(*pronounced “gay-bree-el”)

I’m a UX researcher (and occasional designer) who loves making meaning out of data and information. Currently, I’m pursuing my master’s degree in Human-Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington.

My background includes an undergraduate degree in psychology and digital humanities, with career experience spanning data analytics, strategy, and communications in the marketing & advertising world. I made the switch to UX after realizing my passion for combining data and empathy to positively impact people’s everyday lives.

I strive toward a user-centered approach and thrive on mixed-methods research, utilizing different techniques to piece together a holistic image of each problem space and its target users.

I’m also huge on accessible communication & intuitive design; I am committed to using my expertise to amplify, advocate, and address users’ needs toward more inclusive and equitable futures.

I even listen to corgi pain points…🐶

When I’m not making meaning out of data, I am…

🧶 Knitting, crocheting, or crafting something new

💪 Doing a HIIT workout, playing tennis, or on a run

🏀 Watching a basketball game (…and hoping the Lakers aren’t losing)
